We will be Heard

The dark transitions into the light
Seeming to guide us as we embark
Terminates what would give us a fright
For we are ready to leave our mark.
We no longer desire to hold back
For us, it is destiny to be heard
So even when you decide to talk smack
You won't intimidate, with just a word.
We can influence a nation
We will step up and take a stand
Beliefs, far from termination
Truth can lie in a single hand.
One day, the emotions that you feel
Can transition into something real.
