Sonnet to Mediocrity
Some people are born just to breed and die,
Maybe I fit with this society.
Dress ev'ryday in a suit and a tie;
Work, sleep, and repeat: the way it should be.
A numbered fraction on a giant chart,
Wake up each day with pointless fake smiles.
Never the bull's eye, just one of the darts,
Living like trash, pile after pile.
Buy into a system and sell your soul.
Never struggle for personality.
Never realize that my life is dull.
Live each day like it doesn't affect me.
A barcode of a man, can't even cry,
Some people are born just to breed and die.
