Skippering a racing boat with a crew
Loving life with no worries, just all fun
Gliding across the water, what a coup.
On the field, atop the turf in the spring,
Running down sidelines, cradling a ball
Center mid, taking the face to my wing
As captain of the team, I make the call.
Top of the mountain, the view is divine,
Whizzing down, wind wooshing, at highest speed
Moguls, trees, parks, disregarding any sign
A rush of fear, the best feeling indeed.
