This world is full of trials and tribulations
Things do not always go as I planned
Suddenly problems come and grieves expand
Why is life hard and full of complications?
Sometimes hurts arise in my relations
People burden me so I cannot stand
Or suddenly death takes life on demand
And I lose my life’s expectations
But one thing I know for sure and this is true
I have someone in whom I can trust
He is my solid rock through and through
I will put my faith in Him, I must
Then life will seem brighter, with a different view
His name is Jesus, the loving and just
