Those Three Simple Words

It all began with those three simple words
I looked them up to see the true meaning
we were a pair of innocent love birds
but it ends with a mess im not cleaning.

When you were mine all i did was smile
you could say i was cast under your spell
but now we havent talked in awhile
the spell wore off, you and I both can tell.

you think you can just walk away
forgetting everything we have been through
our bud of love soon led to decay
i guess your giving up on me and you.

its better to say we tried our best
as a favor ill leave out all the rest.

this piece was inspired by one of my relatonships that didnt work out.
