Perspective
My teacher said perspective changes things.
Like how a problem looks worse late at night.
But in the morning, it seems kind of small,
Like maybe it was never big at all.
Sometimes I think my life is way too hard.
Like every test decides my whole future.
But then I stop and breathe a little bit,
And I can see it isn’t that extreme.
The world is wide, there’s room for me to move.
I just forget that when I’m stressed at school.
So now I try to see things from afar,
Not just the way they look right at the moment.
It doesn’t fix it all, but it helps some.
At least I feel like I can handle things.
