I prowl at night with footsteps unheard.

I rummage through your dumpster undeterred.

While my neighbors watch T.V. and play a game.

Milk carton shmilk carton it’s all the same.

A coat of black and grey conceals my silhouette.

Some reach out to pet, but it might leave me upset.

A jet black mask conceals my identity.

I put food first before my popularity.

I can live in the big city or in the countryside.

You could find me up a tree or by your side.

I have all five fingers just like you.

I’m a pretty smart cookie, how about you?

I’m a thief's favorite pet.

With my intelligence I can steal without a sweat.

I can assure you I’m not a criminal.

But I’m very analytical.

I prowl at night with footsteps unheard.

On your yard and patio undeterred.

I’ve got the fight of a cobra, but the kindness of a steed.

I’m a fluffy companion and a hug is just what I need.
