Falling never dropping
Loving never feeling
Coming off yet never peeling
Lifting but never rising
Making up but never fantasizing
Dead but never gone
I made the mark but never
Quite right on

But I missed the
Mark this time.

Forced myself to
Face the facts

And somehow

This.

is better
Than

Standing Never Stopping.
