Of watching
Being no part of it,
It’s one of those days
Of dreaming
Hoping you’d have what you think.
It’s one of those days
Of knowing
Things are not the same,
It’s one of those days
Of resting,
Let things be that way.
Mistakes have been made
And true friends have stayed.
Bitter’s been tasted,
Time has been wasted.
It’s one of those days
When the wind blows
But you stay still…
You don’t go.
