Sometimes I wonder if the world’s spinning at all,
‘Cause all the days bleed together like it’s a super long time.
But it’s really been a long time
Since I let it go

Life contradicts itself and then it starts again:
We run in circles and we all want to pretend we don’t.
But I promise you that I won’t;
(Do both)
And it’s calling
But we all are falling
Maybe we should stop the madness together?

Let me know what you think
(I’ll pretend I don’t care)
Ungrateful for a life that nobody wants
So I know life is good
Just pretend that you care
And we can all pretend we’re not living in
Paper Towns

I drew a picture and you colored in the lines
I smudged the edges and you said it’s been a super long time.
Has it really been a long time?
Since you’ve let it go?

We stay inside the box, but then we try again
But those who are able to break out are only condemned
SO
What happens now?
And we’re drowning
(Scare ‘cause we can’t swim)
Maybe we should stop the madness together?

Let me know what you think
(I’ll pretend I don’t care)
Ungrateful for a life that nobody wants
So I know life is good
Just pretend that you care
And we can all pretend we’re not living in
Paper Towns

Yes, this was kind of inspired by the John Greene book.
