For What Its Worth
I am from a place of worship
deep in the forest of Littleton.

 Hidden by trees
and blue houses with faded shingles.

I am from a family of four
 that often feels like three.

I am from the Rocky Mountains
 when life gets rough.

I am from the palms of my
friends, loving and menacing all at once.

Pushing me to where I need to be,
yet pulling me back to where I was.

I am from the inspiration that leaks
 out of every single thing.

I am from the words that fall out
 of people's lips.

Words that have the power to do more than
 break bones and move mountains.

I am from the world of dreamers-
jumping and thinking we could fly.

I am from the world of clouds
where my head seems to be stuck.

I am from the dirt and live with a glove.

I am from the world of fictional characters
and fictional places, though I know they're not real.

But often enough, I wish they would be.

I am from a place where I've never been
and love people I've never met.

 I am crazy.
 But being crazy isn't enough.
