"I will work harder" (animal farm boxer the horse)

V1
Welcome to the masquerade
A place were we hide all our pain behind a mask
No one will know about who you were
The story of your past will not be heard
It'll just fade away
Only if you stay
But before you enter
you have to answer this
Do you think there's another way?
What if I told you there is.

Chorus

Just hold on
You'll find your peace of mind
you just have to take your time
It's gonna be alright
Take off your disguise
And look up to the sky
You'll be there among the stars
But for now, start healing those scars

V2

There is always hope within the darkness
Like there is love inside the heartless
it's all on the inside but people judge the surface instead
And mock them like torn up novels left unread
No matter what the world says
they're still hope for us

Chorus

Just hold on
You'll find your peace of mind
you just have to take your time
It's gonna be alright
Take off your disguise
And look up to the sky
You'll be there among the stars
But for now, start healing those scars

Bridge

Take all of the negativity of any situation
And turn that into something positive to lay down your foundation
Save yourself from need of resuscitation
Avoid drowning in your own frustration
Everything will be all right if you listen to my directions

V3

The words they say are just meant to make us stronger
And let us know we are meant for so much more
Just get back on your feet and stand taller
Cause this life have so much left in store
There'll always be a way for them to knock us down
It's up to you if you'll stay there on the ground
Listen and you'll see.

Chorus

Just hold on
You'll find your peace of mind
you just have to take your time
It's gonna be alright
Take off your disguise
And look up to the sky
You'll be there among the stars
But for now, start healing those scars.
