"Me Against the World"
Can you imagine my struggle?
The pain and horror, losing a father
Or a father figure, promising myself that I wont pull the trigger
Looking my little brother in face, when I’m in a daze
Trying not to be fazed, it seems like I’m living in a maze
Like a little mouse, but I'm only stuck in this little house
Maintain the game, and I don’t feel ashamed
I take the gun, wanting to blow all the bad scenes away
I try to hide my trouble, so I run from the huddle
I hate to see my mama face, when she struggles
But I love to see her smile, because it’s so wow
Or should I say amazing, she still calls me her little baby
People try to change me, only it feels like a spell
People wanting me to yell, wanting me to say farewell
While they doubt me, and try to trap me
But it’s just me against the world.
