Soldier
What would you do? If given the chance?
Would you stand up and fight? Or lay down your hand?

When faced with the choice, what would you choose?
When the moment comes would you turn away or would you
stand up and show ‘em that we’re here to stay?
Oh, but I could tell you what He would do..

 He’s…a…Soldier…
He stands tall with strength and courage
He fights for you and me.
 He’s a hero, he’s a leader, he’s all I want to be.
 He’s the protector of freedom
 He will prove- us- strong.
 He’s…a…Soldier…
and he fights for you and me.

Would close the curtains in our moment of need?
Would you tell your country; go ahead, fight without me?
Would you question the decision that sends us to war?
Or would you believe in all that we are fighting for?
Would you close your eyes, pretend you couldn’t see
the horrors around you, the face of misery?
Oh, but I could tell you what He would do..

 He’s…a…Soldier…
He stands tall with strength and courage
He fights for you and me.
 He’s a hero, he’s a leader, he’s all I want to be.
 He’s the protector of freedom
 He will prove- us- strong.
 He’s…a…Soldier…
and he fights for you and me.
