I Remember
Every time I walk through this town
I remember the ups and downs.
 My red truck
 That old drive
And all of the things that mad us feel alive.

 Your hair flowing
In the wind of my truck.
 The radio singing
 Trying to win your love.

 That door slamming
 Echoes through my mind.
 Watching you walk away
Stuck with the words I couldn’t say.

Every time I walk through this town
I remember the ups and downs
 My red truck
 That old drive
And all of the things that mad us feel alive.

 The sun shining its rays
 As we laughed all day.
 Everybody asking,
Exactly how we got this way.

 The rain pouring
 Just after we said goodbye
 The phone in my hand
But it’s been too long to try.

Every time I walk through this town
I remember the ups and downs
 My red truck
 That old drive
And all of the things that mad us feel alive.
