Illusion
The goal
 Always incomplete
 Never obtained
 Never at your feet.
 You pursue it
 But just forget it
 It’s always in vain
 Because nothing can be gained

 You pursue
 Becoming a fool
 Ain’t worth fighting for
Might as well head for the door
 Soul destroyed,
 Nothing can fill the void.

 You persuade
 Still nothing can be gained
 Oral is empty
 Actions are limited
 For the time being,
 Trying is obscene

 You are passive
 Nothing being done
For a time success did come,
But it only leaves, as it was done.
Face it; the goal can’t be complete,
 Might as well accept defeat

It’s impossible to win this battle…
 Try and seize the goal,
 You fall in a hole.
That second part will always be missing
 Because,
The ground is the only thing you’ll be kissing.
