Pretty Girls--Song Version
There is a girl who has the prettiest features
She’s got her head in the clouds and an organ on her sweater-er
She has come to realize what the date on the calendar is
And she is smart enough to know what this means

So she takes one look and falls too short of what could have been
She falls head first and raises her heels to the sky
She takes off her sweater and gives it to him
Because she doesn’t know that he’s really an awful guy

Silly little girl didn’t know any better
Than to fall in love with you
Pretty, pretty girl coulda done much better
  Didn’t realize this was true,
Silly little girl lookin’ under the weather
 Don’t know what to do
Once a pretty girl, never do any better
Now that she’s been hit by you
 Oh, oh, oh

And all the pretty girls are
 All alone and
 Sleeping quietly
After a night of intense crying
 Oh, oh, oh
 It’s people like you who
 Seem to do
These awful acts of unintentional violence to
Pretty girls who fall for you

There is a lovely girl living down the street from me
Lost everything she had but still’s got her dreams, e-eams
She’s come to realize what kind of a sucker she is
At least I hope she does because she used to think you were a prince

Now, she takes one look at herself and frowns, frowns at her face
She’s got a bruise but who’s from, he’s left no trace
She puts on her makeup and hides with a smile
Because she thought he was a nice guy for a while

Silly little girl didn’t know any better
Than to fall in love with you
Pretty, pretty girl coulda done much better
  Didn’t realize this was true,
Silly little girl lookin’ under the weather
 Don’t know what to do
Once a pretty girl, never do any better
Now that she’s been hit by you
 Oh, oh, oh

And all the pretty girls are
 All alone and
 Sleeping quietly
After a night of intense crying
 Oh, oh, oh
 It’s people like you who
 Seem to do
These awful acts of unintentional violence to
Pretty girls who fall for you

 It’s people like you who
 Seem to do
These awful acts of unintentional violence too
 often
 It’s people like you who
 Seem to do
These awful acts of unintentional violence to
A silly little girl who didn’t know any better
Than to fall in love with you
Pretty, pretty girl coulda done much better
  Didn’t realize this was true,
Still doesn’t realize this is true,
 Oh, oh, oh

And all the pretty girls are
 All alone and
 Sleeping quietly
After a night of intense crying
 Oh, oh, oh
 It’s people like you who
 Seem to do
These awful acts of unintentional violence to
Pretty girls who fall for you

Now you can take your lies and shove them up your a**
Cuz pretty girls like me don’t need that jazz
