Wanting To Write Our Names
My pen hits the paper wanting to write our names again,
My heart skips a beat wanting to love you again,
I'm so unsure of how I'm gonna stand.
I don't know if I can, without your hand.
Misery will drip into these next few days,
I can feel your warmth removed by a restless haze,
Don't try to make me just forget about you, cuz I can't.
This love remains.
My eyes look up and automatically search for you.
Cuz in this crowded room all that I want is youu
I want your strong embrace around me,
the promise that no matter what, I'll be okay.
Then I see you standing, ...... With another girl.
My lashes drop, my heart stops, ...and there goes my World.
I hear your laughter all the way across the room.
I hear her voice, your answer, and then I know,
I will never know how to let go of this
Cuz that's where I belong.
Music fills my ears and then I'm falling.
No one understands how much this hurts
Cuz when you take her hand, and you're dancing...
And there's nothing I can do.
