I thought I knew it all, until this night,
Falling
Down
Is the only way to see this light,
That you can’t see from way up top.

Have I been doing wrong all this time?
Crawling
Skin
As I realized that half the time,
I was just being stupidly ignorant.

CHORUS X2:
I won’t admit
That I’m wrong and I
I shall stay perched up
On top of this throne.

This feeling called guilt grew in might
Calling
Help
As it hammered me down, and crushed me up,
Made me feel small and insignificant.

I know I can’t complain, but give me a break,

Fighting back just because I’m wrong,
Reason springs have, all dried up.

We really liked the juxtaposition of the longer lines with the shorter lines.  The word choice for the short lines were particularly good.
