What makes a liar tell the truth
What makes a honest man cheat
What makes me love you
What makes you believe ill forgive you so easily
Yes you were wrong
Yes I am hurt inside
Yes this pain will overcome
Yes it will take time
No I don’t feel the same about you anymore
No there is nothing you can say to change my mind
No anything you do won’t make me comfortable
No I don’t show my pain on the outside
Why did things have to be this way
Why can’t I smile when I see your face
Why can’t everything that happened be erased
Why can’t you just love me and make me feel safe

I do like this, but is it more of a short poem than a song? you could easily add to this to make it into a really good song :)
