Silent Drowning in Insanity
View from the broken window
Look in on their damaged lives
 Spectating, observe their aching
 Draft the logic of heartbreaking

 Silent depression clouding their vision
 Only knowing a naive world
So immune to internal, external hate
I'm chained outside, I am too late

 They're drowning, drowning
 Falling down
 I sit by
 Realize
I'm unable to make a sound

 Tears rolling from inability
To wipe those bloodstained scars from their arms
I've lost myself in helpless crime
Lost in their pain, for I've buried mine

Fantasized hope eats away their perception
I know, for I'm free of my own
They're lost in reality, longing innocence
That they traded for false independence

 Cycle of death
 No solitary breath

 They're drowning, drowning
 Falling down
 I sit by
 Realize
I'm unable to make a sound

I once drowned, but then I burned
Now all I know are the scars
 Love for life never returned
But I must save them from what we are
 Insanity
 Insanity
 It becomes them
 As it became me
I survived, but I'm not free

 We're drowning, drowning
 Falling down
 And I'm still here
 It's clear
No one will make a sound
