Now The Truth Is Told
So I heard a funny story today
These girls like to say that you have a way with words
 Boy isn’t that the truth
There is only so much I can take before I can say goodbye
And this is to let you know why
I won’t let you steal my pride
I will never let you see me cry
I refuse to play the broken girl
And if I do it shall be my way
I can’t keep playing your foolish games
Because of you I know all the tricks of the trade
You like to tell me what I want to hear
But it’s getting old and soon I’ll be over you
I won’t let you steal my pride
I will never let you see me cry

I refuse to play the broken girl
And it’s time to do things my way
I’m tired of all the hurt
It’s time to go and I’m sorry it didn’t work
But its time you know the pain you bring
Soon you’ll just be a memory
I won’t let you steal my pride
I will never let you see me cry
I refuse to play the broken girl
So now I guess the truth is told
