I'll Fight For Tomorrow
Friday night you told me you were fine
But I wonder if you believed it
When you held my hand this time it was
The first time it ain’t make me smile

 It only got worse honey
But who would think that it’d come
 Just remember

I’ll be fighting for our lives till God calls the two of us
I’ll be trying to make you laugh when you tell me to stop
I’ll be there to shine a light when it’s only dark
I’ll fight for tomorrow to come

When we were sitting at our bridge
You looked me in the eye and didn’t say a thing
I told you it’s beautiful in here
You said I’m happy you’re with me

Then I saw the pain in you
And for a minute I felt it too
 But I remembered

I’ll be fighting for our lives till God calls the two of us
I’ll be trying to make you laugh when you tell me to stop
I’ll be there to shine a light when it’s only dark
I’ll fight for tomorrow to come

Now I can see you on the floor and your eyes are closed
While your soul is coming now to the Lord
And my eyes keep on crying out every single tear
And I try to recall what you told me when you were here

You said “I’ll be fighting for our lives till God calls the two of us
I’ll be trying to make you laugh when you tell me to stop
I’ll be there to shine a light when it’s only dark
I’ll fight for tomorrow to come”
