"Our Deepest Fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure"

teach me how to breathe
all of which is magical
surrender my soul into a dream
your love has ventured
wish upon all of me
as a child would a star
give to me the eyes to see
how things really are

your heart i sought to feel
with my hands i could hear it beating
a whisper of light that touched the hope
within my heart i thought was fleeting

teach me how to breathe
all of which is magical
surrender my soul into a dream
your love has ventured
wish upon all of me
as a child would a star
give to me the eyes to see
how things really are

enchant it to believe
that someday life would pray
No longer must i greive
Nor must i wish to take a leave
from this sudden winter rage
dying against a forsaken night

teach me how to breathe
all of which is magical
surrender my soul into a dream
your love has ventured
wish upon all of me
as a child would a star
give to me the eyes to see
how things really are

teach me how to speak
the language of seeing
render upon my broken voice
a kiss to end the bleeding

And oh I pray that someday
Life shall sweep these thoughts of death away
so i can breathe my soul into your voice
And you can sing all of the pain away

teach me how to breathe
all of which is magical
surrender my soul into a dream
your love has ventured
and as you breathe love into me
inspired by lust for harmony
my soul becomes enchanted

i thought hope, never would i feel
but you taught me hope was real
and the wounds of my past
i now know will forever heal

I was inspired by my girlfriend who has taught me that hope is still alive and well. This song is an incorporation of both my gratefulness for her love and for her as a human being, but also for my love of nature.
