"Our Deepest Fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure"

he was walking in a misty forest
with friends he 'd known from school
friends they said, he was everybody's fool
he could see through the leaves
as the sky closed its yellow eye
it was gone before he could say good bye

he had spent so many long years
trying to be perfect for his peers
but perfection was just imperfection
he should so loudly with his tears
for a little bit of daddy's affection
but his screams soon became lost
within the hearts of his fears
will he listen will he understand will he care
will he even see me standing there

he is high atop mount everest
he says:
heart beat right on out my chest
show the world now that love and life
you shall forever and always detest
he leaned against an old oak tree
in the middle of a crimson sea

through the leaves he saw God
he saw Him close his eyes
did this come as a suprise
No
did this confirm that his flesh
was made of lies
No
but now tears fill his eyes

a tiger licks his hand
somewhere rooaring deep wthin
with swollen lips it whispers
don't give up don't give in
this harsh game of life
you still can win

A dream that I had one night, still vivid inside my mind, had to write it down, perhaps deep within its lines you shall find a part of me and where I have been.
