How many times must I pluck at the flowers,
To show how much I care about you?
And how many times must you remind me,
Why I fell for you in the first place?

It's not that hard,
It's not that right,
To make someone believe they fell in love,
At first sight.
Especially when,

I pick all the flowers,
And I pluck off all the petals that they have,
Just for you.
And I sing sad reminders,
To tell myself that I can't have you.
And I make up some love songs,
That I'll never sing to you,
In person.

The first day we met,
You were the only one that sat by me.
I wasn't so talkative,
But you made me step out of my comfort zone.
I was so alone.

It's not that hard,
It's not that right,
To make someone believe they fell in love,
At first sight,
Even when,

I pick all the flowers,
And I pluck off all the petals that they have,
Just for you.
And I sing sad reminders,
To tell myself that I can't have you.
And I make up some love songs,
That I'll never sing to you,
In person.

Have you ever loved someone so much,
You'd give them all your world?
You'd fight for them,
You'd cry for them,
And no one could seperate you from him?

It's not that hard,
It's not that right,
To make someone believe they fell in love,
At first sight,
Especially when,

I pick all the flowers,
And I pluck off all the petals that they have,
Just for you.
And I sing sad reminders,
To tell myself that I can't have you.
And I make up some love songs,
That I'll never sing to you,
In person...

To my best friend, again. He's mad at me because I told him how I felt. I sang this to him before Christmas, and he liked it and my voice. I miss him. I love him.
And I want him to know.
