Demise

Her fragile heart stops fluttering.
She spent her last moments alone and shuddering.
Blood goes still in her veins.
Up and down her arms you see her pain.
In a dark corner all alone,
Slashing her wrists,
Shoving pills down her throat.
In a dark corner all alone...
She's finally letting go.

CHORUS:
Can't stand on her own.
Doesn't understand why she's always alone.
What does she do so wrong?
What is it about her that's so bad?
Can't have a happy ending,
When a beginning is what she lacks.

Tears fall heavy and hard.
The salty drops sting the cuts along her arm.
Tears fall fast and thick,
burning each gasg upon her wrist.
She can't take the pain.
She tries fighting her demons.
It's all in vain.
And she gives up.

CHORUS:
Can't stand on her own.
Doesn't understand why she's always alone.
What does she do so wrong?
What is it about her that's so bad?
Can't have a happy ending,
When a beginning is what she lacks.

She leaves this world.
No one will miss,
such a worthless girl.
She leaves this life...
And she leaves her pain behind.
