Sometimes change is good

Not going to lie I've made some mistakes
Sometimes I'm certain I just need a break
I see all the signs but can't spot out an answer
If there isn't a change the answer will be cancer
I'm excited for change, and that I do know
that after I do, it'll be my chance to grow
into the person I want and the person I can be
I'm doing this for my family, more importantly for me
I hope soon after they'll begin to see
I'm not fibbing when I say I'll be alcohol and tobacco free
Because I know I have a lot more in store for me
