Look Before You Leap!
July 19, 2013

There once was a dancer named Carrie
Whose learned steps were simply contrary.
 She had a good pace
 But fell on her face,
And now the kids call her quite scary.

Alliteration is one of my favorite literary devices. I love your limerick, and it's so true to the structure and rhythm of a limerick. Awesome work! And congratulations on winning that award for your book!

ALSO: beautiful, banished, banged up ballerina bombarded by badgering bullies! * catch the literary device? ;) *
