My new years resolution is to be resolute
To not resign myself to doing what other people do
More effectively filling a pair of grown man shoes
To be a lightbringer and bring more depressed people through
My new years resolution is to erase the bad habits
That poison my mind and trap it
So maybe this year when I attack it
I no longer will have it
My new years resolution is to be a better friend
To be a blessing
To those trapped in sin
So maybe they won't have to be in the pain that I'm in
My new years resolution is to be a better brother
Take care of my family like a lover
Keep my head up like no other
And show respect to my mother
My new years resolution is to share my feelings to you
Who read this all the way through
Didn't skip i nor you
I'm thankful for you
