Every attempt ends in failure
Every choice with a mistake
My motives are uncertain
Disaster I leave in my wake

My actions cause anguish
While my words bring bliss
I can claim amity
Then command a kiss

My words are eloquent
But I perceive my deceit
I am made to wander
My love is not concrete

The author's comments:
I wrote this about a boy i knew who i continued to crush after even though i knew he was a flirt. I decided to write something from his perspective that he would tell me to subdue my crush.
