In The Peace of Night

The sun slowly sets
As the stars appear above
And a breeze rolls in
The birds are silent
Their chirps have ceased as they sleep
And all is peaceful
No more dogs barking
Or car engines echoing
And all is peaceful
The fireflies roam
Through the cool, night sky and form
A beautiful scene
The full moon shines bright
Like the sun during the day
And all is peaceful
