Fog ushers a storm
Draining colors from the cove,
The sky and sea fuse.
Clouds dim hues of blue,
Draping a veil of shadows
Over the coastline.
Suddenly bursting,
Mother Nature frees caged ire
Deluging the sand.
Sheets of water slap
Against cold callous cliffs before
Light burns fog to mist.
Colors harmonize
To a hushed rhythm of rain,
Vigor ends with peace.
