Thanks. It wasn't inspired by any particular character; I guess I was just thinking of how annoying it is to open a book and feel like you've met the protagonist dozens of times before. I find that happens a lot in YA books, especially those where the author seems much more concerned with getting through the plot than making their main character a believable and interesting person.

Well, this was not what I was expecting. But it made me laugh- it did, because I've read so many of these protagonists. Which characters inspired this?
