In a world with violence and bigotry, it is my hope that this haiku will remind people of the responsibility to use their voice to make a difference. Being a bystander is not enough, infact its not okay. Standing up for people and movements you believe in is one of the greatest actions of love, compassion and hope, values that need to be taught more.
