It appears the world
Has long since dissapeared
In the veil of fog.

I stand currently
On the final piece of earth
In the universe.

I am so alone
In this misty world of mine
The silence is still

But I remember
The old world hidden by fog
So I keep waiting

Waiting for the rain
Or snow, or wind, or sleeting
To wash the veil away.

But until that time
I will stand here patiently
And wait for the world.

wow. By the looks of this poem, you must be extremely talented when it comes to writing haiku poems. Very nicely done :D
