Life isn't about surviving the storm, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Step one: first tear, she,
Straightens out her life between,
Slabs of hot metal.

Step two: first crack, she,
Conceals angry red problems,
With skin colored goop.

Step three: first break, she,
Stains her grimace to echo,
Her former free smile.

Step four: first burst, she,
Paints over hot, angry tears,
Glistening in her eyes.

Step five: she’s gone, a,
Pile of stitches, where her,
Fragile heart once beat.
