Tears like Rain

I listen to the
rain as it hammers against
my bedroom window
The rain drops remind
me of the unforgetful
wounding words you said
The love I once thought
was real seems so out of reach
but still i crave it
The falling tears are
like the rain pounding on my
glass bedroom window
