Winter Wonderland

Remarkable glow illuminates off purified white blanket,
challenging the sun to melt away its innocence.
Snowflakes completely enshroud Earth as Autumn preserved.
Hallucinations deceive me,
trouble to believe in such a Winter wonderland.
Though blizzard like snowfall carries clarity,
icicles sadly reflect the disappearance of Fall.
Sinful pleasures strive to stay concealed,
yet triumph shatters any hope of confinement.
