You're my shining star
Though you burned out long ago,
You live in my heart.
As I walk away
And say, "I'm better than this"
Something clicks: it's true.
You need attention
I need a boy with dark eyes
But I'm shy, you're fair
We're better off as
Two ones together
Instead of one lonely two.
Somehow, somewhere, someday
I'll find my Captain Jack
Sparrow, and you will find your
Marilyn Monroe.
