This song takes significant inspiration from the song"Teeth on a String" by the band Stick and Poke. Both the song and the poem are about an unhealthy relationship, and I tried to show that with the 2nd line. The "teeth" imagery was very strong for me, for whatever reason, so I tried my best to honor this idea.
