Winter is gone
Spring is here
The sun is shining bright again.
The trees are growing leaves once more
My heart is happy to the core.
As basketball season ends
Baseball season begins
No more shooting basketballs with the fingers
Just chewing gum and hitting dingers.
I hear the birds singing in the air
The wind blowing through my hair
As the flowers are budding
And the grass turns green
I get to see
Spring come alive
