Does She Know?
I look at this girl and question why she's here.
She lives on the edge, but does she know she can slip?
She laughs all day, but does she know (deep down) she isn't happy?
She keeps a smile on her face, but does she know it's just a mask?
She has many friends, but does she know they're just using her?
She said he loves her, but does she know he only loves her body?
I turn away from the mirror and wipe my tears.
She doesn't know.
