Onomatopoem
Honk,
Honk, Honk, Honk.
The angry driver pushes
The button.
Meep,
Meep, Meep, Meep.
As the driver lay
On the horn, the sound
Deteriorates.
Into a high pitch
Buzzing sound.
Rhee,
Rhee, Rhee, Rhee.
The driver has held
For three minutes.
What once was
A manly roar
Is now just a weep
For attention.
Hee,
Hee, Hee, Hee.

When I was younger, last year, I read a poem that used onomatopoeia and it inspired me to write this piece that will be added to my poetry collection. It is a small collection of my work and is not exactly the best quality but I still take pride in it.
