Why War?

Why does there have to be such thing as war,
As it only damages humankind at the core?
Is it because we think of each other less
That results in a substantial, worldwide mess.
Even with the UN
We cannot move to the next gen.
If war is caused by so much hate,
Why can’t we stop it before it’s too late.
