A Cold Place

A cold, lonely place, which is left abandoned during the day yet occupied by night. I’m discarded and alone, covered by ruffled up silk sheets, laying on top of a springy surface. I slipped off his foot last night as he shuffled drifting with his dreams. Maybe he’ll leave me a friend tonight.
