Hawaii
It was a beautiful day
During the end of May
We were there
In front of the ocean
Watching its wonderful motion
Without having any notion
Of what to do next
Then we sat by the water's edge to watch the sunset
Not caring if we got wet
Our moment of peace had been interrupted
When a volcano erupted
Now being there didn't seem fun
We heard a lot of people scream
So we started to run
I wished that this could just be a dream
I hadn't realized that I was asleep
Until I heard a beep
And knew that my alarm clock was going off
I was so relieved that everything and the screams
Were just in my dreams
