In The End
Sometimes the person,
you thought was immersing,
themselves into you,
turns out to be cruel.
Not a word to the feeling,
I felt like not being,
the sound of his silent words screeching.
A crushing of the heart,
that was tearing me apart,
I turned my feelings into art.
To cover up the pain,
that was driving me insane.
him watching me leave through the window pane.
A bright light tried to make me see,
What would have happened had he got a hold of me,
Instead the sunshine was blocked by a tree,
And that sad occurrence could’ve ended me.
I gained the pride so I wouldn't die,
Or try to hide and hurt my shine,
I said goodbye.
