Bad Hair Day

Worst start to the day;
look in the mirror and fight to look away.
How can you contain something that goes every which way?
Some strands straight and some strands curled
It’s the end of the world.
I just hate how it won’t cooperate.
Try up and down but still look like a clown
Mom says I exaggerate but that’s a debate
Does she know the bad things that await?
Everyone’s comments will congregate
This seals my fate.
