Escaping Death
Do you know what it is like to be constantly looking over your shoulder?
To see if Death is prowling right behind you.
Writing in his notebook waiting for his time to strike.
Have you ever escaped from Death himself before he reaches you?
Having him erase your name from his book to only come back another day.
Well I have.
Death himself had been waiting to get me from the moment I was born.
I was born prematurely and dead.
The doctors had to preforn CPR before Deat could finish writing my name.
Luckily the doctors made it just in time.
Having to stay in the hospital for a week to make sure Death wouldn't come back.
Death hasn't come back since then but that doesn't mean my life has been easy.
When I was three I had to be hospitalized since my doctor didn't give me medical treatment fast enough letting me get a virus.
Then only a year later I was diagnosed with celiac disease.
For around the next seven years it seemed like I was fine even though I wasn't.
By the time I was eleven my gallbladder was only working at 23%.
I had it taken out that year a day after Christmas.
Then when I was twelve I had to be put on a shot and if I go off it I could get cancer.
I am now fourteen and I could be a victum of lupus unless someone can stop it.
As you can see my life hasn't been good to me.
Some people think of me as weak and fragile because of this.
But people need to know that all that I have been through hasn't made me weak but strong enough to face what life and death throws at me.
